The Criminal Investigation Division/Crime Service Department (CID/CSD) of the Liberia National Police (LNP) in Margibi County have arrested a 43-year-old Malian national identified as Sekou Susuku with US$750,000 counterfeit.
Speaking to the Daily Observer Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the headquarters of the LNP in Kakata City, Margibi County, CID/CSD Commander John M. Kollie said the suspect was arrested that day at his (suspect's) new Kakata residence with counterfeit US dollars.

The CID/CSD Commander added that suspect Susuku was arrested upon a tipoff.
According to the Commander, LNP officers effected the arrest of suspect Susuku after a search warrant had been issued by Kakata Magisterial Court.

Suspect Susuku, according to the Police Commander, had used the counterfeit notes to dupe people in the country.

Susuku, according to the CID/CSD Commander, had admitted to the crime and he (suspect) had been charged with facilitation of counterfeit notes.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been arraigned before the Kakata Magisterial Court for trial.
