Zul Hijjah Starts Saturday November 29th, 2008
Greetings and congratulation to all Muslims with the start of Zul-hijjah the best days (10 days) in the sight of Allah.
It is officially announced in Makkah al-Mukarramah that Saturday, November 29th, 2008 is the 1st day of Zul Hijjah. Therefore, Hajj (day of Arafat) will be on Sunday, December 7th and Eid Ul-Adha will be on Monday, December 8th, insha’ Allah. The Fiqh Council of North America has taken the position that Eid Ul-Adha will follow the Day of Hajj as announced in Makkah.

Eid Ul Adha prayer will be on Monday December 8th, 2008 at The Dallas Convention Center Hall F, in Downtown Dallas 9:30am Sharp.

The Finance Ministry has released the schedule for the disbursement of checks for Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) pensioners in alphabetical orders with immediate effect.
