IN MEMORY OF DR. HARRY FUMBA MONIBA
We, the family of the late former Vice President of Liberia, Dr.
Harry F. Moniba, are observing a quiet remembrance of him on the
fourth anniversary of his passing. His death in a two-car accident
on November 24, 2004, in Michigan occurred while he was preparing to
again offer his experienced leadership to the Liberian people. He
may not have completed his campaign of “Liberia First”, but he had a
clear vision and tirelessly articulated it.

Barely
few weeks after the death of River Gee Senator Isaac Johnson, his
children are not mourning but rather fighting over properties he
left behind and other benefits expected to come from the Liberian
Government.
Police
officer Nathaniel Lackey, who was burnt by street gasoline sellers
in Monrovia in 2004 during the National Transitional Government of
Liberia (NTGL) chaired by Charles Gyude Bryant, is appealing for
help and an intervention from President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to
seek advance medical treatment out of the country.
HONOLULU
– Barack Obama's grandmother, whose personality and bearing shaped
much of the life of the Democratic presidential contender, has died,
Obama announced Monday, one day before the election. Madelyn Payne
Dunham was 86.
